WIG STYLES
The style and color of wigs are closely related. Prior to selecting your color, you should have already selected your size and cap. Most wigs come pre-styled from the manufacturer. As with styling your own hair, some wig styles will look better on different face shapes. The most recognized shapes are Oval, Round, Square, Rectangular, Heart and Diamond.
Oval Face

Oval faces seem to look better with just about any style and length. The oval face will seem slightly larger across the temples than at the jaw line. Try any wig style or length you would like to try.

Round Face
 |
Round faces tend to look better with chin length or longer wig styles and with more fullness at the top and no extra bulk below. The round face looks full with a round chin and rounded hairline.

Square Face
 |
Square faces tend to look better with wig styles that have a little more fullness on the top, being careful not to add bulk at the jaw line. The square face seems to be straight down from the temples to the jaw line.

Rectangular Face
 |
Rectangular faces tend to be long and slender and will look better with wig styles that are short and medium lengths. With the rectangular face, adding bulk to the sides will help.

Heart Shape
 |
A face that seems wider at the temples and hairline with a narrow chin should wear wig styles that offer lengths to the chin or longer and have layers at the sides. Bring some hair to the forehead to hide its width.

Diamond Shape
 |
This face is narrow at the chin and forehead but the cheeks are wide. Bobs are the wig styles that will work well for this shape as they will add bulk to the chin area. Keep the top low. Do not add bulk to the sides.
